The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager who has a passion for helping marketers turn data into real business value. In this role, you’ll help define the future of activation in the Amperity platform, an area that’s seen significant growth in the past few years. You’ll understand the inner workings of how marketers and our team schedule and measure campaigns, which connectors matter to bring value, and how to bring it all together in a delightful experience. You’ll have a passion for activation platforms, marketing organizations, and how MarTech is evolving the roles and work every day.

Interesting Problems

  • Define the product vision: Understanding market trends, customer needs, and business goals to create a clear and inspiring vision for the product.
    • Creating elegant experiences to power campaigns at scale for some of the largest B2C brands in the world
    • Understanding the business value of a unified customer view and making that available to our customers.
  • Develop the product strategy: Collaborating with stakeholders to devise a comprehensive product strategy that considers market dynamics, competition, and opportunities.
    • Finding important customer insights and helping brands take action on those insights
    • Ingesting and cleaning large amounts of data daily and blending it with real-time events
    • Automatically stitching data together across disparate systems by training machine-learning models to build a probabilistic knowledge graph.
    • Taking research algorithms and productionizing them for high-scale usage.
  • Prioritize features and requirements: Make data-driven decisions about the most important features and needs, given limited resources and competing demands.
    • Allowing users to perform complex, real-time queries across an aggregated view of their data.
    • Publishing query result data to a diverse set of systems for client usage.
  • Crafting a powerful and elegant user experience to make these systems accessible for humans.
  • Connecting seamlessly to a wide variety of systems across marketing, analytics, and IT.
  • And working with the engineers that accomplish this flexibly, durably, and while supporting each other in a distributed working environment.

About You

  • 15 years experience in product management roles.
  • Passion for understanding and leveraging data to make delightful experiences for less technical users.
  • Experience working with activation or campaign systems, and understanding the complexity of orchestration across many platforms.
  • Demonstrated passion for balancing robust SaaS craftsmanship with continually shipping value to customers.
  • Experience as the primary owner for complex projects involving coordination between customers, product management, and engineering.
  • Strong desire to learn and investigate new technologies in a hands-on, practical manner.
  • A demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, swiftly-changing environment.
  • A demonstrated history of escalating success in your career.

Location

Seattle, WA

Our hybrid work model includes three days in the office each week, providing a mix of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.

Compensation

STANDARD
Base Salary: $200,000-$275,000. Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.

Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.

Stock Options: The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
