This is a full-time, on-site role based at our fulfillment center serving the NYC market, reporting directly to the Market General Manager. The position requires on-site presence Monday through Friday in North New Jersey.

The Role:

North New Jersey

Crafty is seeking a Fulfillment Manager to join our team, reporting directly to our New York Market General Manager.
This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our on-site fulfillment teams, including supervisors and staff across three key areas: route merchandising (delivery operations), equipment servicing (technical maintenance), and fulfillment center operations (warehouse inbound/outbound).

The Fulfillment Manager will be accountable for financial expense management within the fulfillment center and will develop and implement strategies to drive efficiency and operational excellence across all areas of responsibility.

A successful candidate will be able to clearly articulate operational performance to internal teams, with a strong focus on budget management, key business metrics, and overall operational reviews.

Ideal Experience:

  • 8 years of experience in operations, with at least:
    • 2–3 years of direct budget management responsibility
    • 1–3 years in a leadership role within warehouse operations, logistics, or fulfillment
  • Demonstrated success leading teams in a fast-paced, service-focused environment
  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and reduce costs

Expected Results:

  • Goal #1: On a monthly basis, the Fulfillment manager will report out on all defined operational metrics to leadership (fill rate, SLA compliance, safety, and cost-controls) to identify areas for optimization and implement approved tactics.
  • Goal #2: In order to ensure we have clear staff expectations, KPIs and development paths, the Fulfillment manager will conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with all the direct reports, as measured by 100% completion weekly.
    • The objectives of the weekly meetings will be to ensure the operational goals of the company are being met, the staff objectives and development paths are well-defined and progressing, and the commitments to the client are met or exceeded in terms of SLA, Fill rate and other external deliverables.
  • Goal #3: On a monthly basis, analyze route metrics and determine appropriate resource utilization (route plan, labor planning, client SLA compliance) to support the market in reaching the market’s profitability goal of 20%.

Our compensation amount for this role is targeted at $100,000 - $120,000 per year in New Jersey. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including cost of living based on location, candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
