The Team You’ll Join

You'll join our talented subbing/production team working on our hugely successful Homes brands (Homes & Gardens; Living etc; Country Homes & Interiors; 25 Beautiful Homes; Ideal Home; Period Living; and Homebuilding & Renovating).

What you'll do

Reporting to the Chief Sub Editor, you’ll be responsible for sub-editing across multiple brands, primarily on InDesign layouts but also on Google Docs, following house style and championing the accuracy and appropriateness of editorial copy. You’ll be required to achieve a high quality and quantity of subbing and a consistently excellent level of attention to detail to challenging deadlines. You’ll ultimately be required to deputise for our Chief Sub Editor and Production Editors as and when necessary. There may also be opportunities to sub-edit pages on other Future print brands.

What you’ll bring

Excellent sub-editing skills and attention to detail; a willingness to become an integral part of the Homes team; excellent communication and organisational skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Sub-editing/production experience
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Google Suite
• Expertise in CMS systems
• Knowledge of/interest in home interiors

The expected range for this role is £29,000 - £33,000
