Our events attract fine wine enthusiasts, industry professionals and global producers, while DWWA remains one of the most respected and influential wine competitions internationally.

As Decanter's events and awards continue to expand in the UK and abroad, we are seeking a Marketing Executive to join our Events Marketing team and support the successful delivery and growth of our flagship programmes.

What you'll be doing

Reporting into the Head of Events Marketing, you will support the planning and execution of event marketing activity, which includes, (but not limited to) Decanter World Wine Awards, DWWA Market Guide, Fine Wine Encounters (London & international), Decanter Masterclasses/Tastings and Decanter's presence at trade fairs and events.

You will work closely with design, editorial, sales and logistics teams to deliver effective, engaging and well-structured marketing activity. This dynamic role combines creative work, digital marketing and essential administrative support to help the team operate smoothly.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • Understanding of multi-channel marketing, including email, partnerships, social, web, print and digital advertising and PR.
  • Experience in copywriting and proofreading.
  • Experience working with or across social media channels and digital platforms.
  • Can provide administrative support to a busy marketing team.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and effective messaging.
  • Comfortable analysing data, tracking performance and providing insights or recommendations.
  • Interest in events or the wine industry
