The Role
The Warehouse Associate II plays a key role in daily warehouse and logistics operations, supporting inbound and outbound freight, inventory control, and material handling across both dry and temperature-controlled environments. This role requires proven experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment, strong inventory discipline, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high safety and accuracy standards.
Successful candidates will demonstrate consistent performance in a fast-paced warehouse environment, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight trucks.
- Move, stage, and organize materials for production and shipping.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders accurately according to daily schedules and operational priorities.
- Receive inbound shipments, verify quantities and condition of goods, and ensure timely and accurate inventory updates.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain and update pallet ID tags, receipts, and inventory records in Airtable software system.
- Execute inventory control processes, including daily cycle counts, end-of-month counts, and annual physical inventories.
- Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies, damaged product, or process gaps.
- Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready work areas while adhering to all safety procedures.
- Support production and supply chain operations through cross-functional collaboration.
- Maintain all required certifications for warehouse equipment, including reach forklifts, counterbalance forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and walkie/rider forklifts.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in a distribution warehouse or manufacturing environment with hands-on experience in receiving, shipping, inventory control, and cycle counting.
- Experience operating forklifts in an active, fast-paced warehouse environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Forklift certification must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse workflows, inventory accuracy, and material handling best practices.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Close attention to detail; safety-focused, reliable, and accountable.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with team lifts or mechanical aids for loads up to 150 lbs, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
- Working knowledge of inventory systems and proficiency with basic computer applications, such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
- Experience using inventory platforms is preferred.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
Other Physical Responsibilities and Working Conditions
- This position requires considerable physical activity, including standing for prolonged periods, reaching, bending repeatedly, lifting, pushing, and pulling safely up to 50 pounds or up to 150 pounds with shared loads.
- Comfortable working in a general warehouse that includes temperature-controlled sections and freezers.
- Routinely traverse the production floor, following safety protocols.
- Perform tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (work around heavy machinery with loud noises at times).
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
- Day Shift: M-F 8 AM-4:30 PM (Overtime may be required upon request, from management).
