For the majority of 2024, ClosedLoop has been developing a new, not-yet-launched, consumer product aimed at helping people navigate their health, built on top of generative AI.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer Contractor to join the engineering organization. You’ll report to the VP of Engineering and work closely with the rest of our engineering team as a force multiplier for our AWS platform. This is an in-office position in our Austin office.

Responsibilities:

• Be the primary owner of our AWS based infrastructure as well as our Jenkins based CI/CD platform. Additionally, bring idea and solutions for how to improve our current CI/CD platform
• Bring best in class practices around monitoring, observability and incident management to the organization.
• Investigate potential errors and alerts in our platform and address outages in a timely manner to support SLA requirements. Additionally, create and/or update playbooks as necessary.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership on security and compliance initiatives
• Mentor team members in DevOps/Infrastructure best practices

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5+ years building and maintaining docker based platforms on AWS using an Infrastructure-As-Code systems in Terraform and/or Ansible
• 4+ years experience in using Python as a scripting language used in combination with a CI/CD platform
• Experience in building, managing, and scaling Jenkins and/or Bitbucket pipelines
• Experience building and maintaining developer tooling
• Experience setting up and maintaining a DataDog monitoring system
• Experience in building software and systems that is secure by design
• Team player with a focus on making the whole group better

Bonus Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Information/Cyber Security
• Prior experience in healthcare or working with healthcare data
