As a Senior Data Analyst, You Will:
- Analyze and interpret data trends across Button’s platform, across which billions of dollars in commerce and advertising transactions flow, with a focus on product performance, customer behavior, and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting tasks.
- Deliver actionable insights that inform product strategy, improve customer experiences, and drive platform growth across affiliate, programmatic, and retail media channels.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to keep internal teams and leadership aligned on key performance metrics.
- Evaluate and refine analytical methodologies to ensure data accuracy, enable better forecasting, and support experimentation.
- Automate data workflows, reporting pipelines, and dashboards to scale analytics capabilities.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to translate data insights into user and business impact.

Experience Level:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within digital advertising, affiliate marketing, e-commerce, or financial analytics.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a focus on financial modeling, ad performance, campaign optimization, and revenue impact.
- Experience working with large datasets and using data visualization tools such as Omni, Looker, or similar BI tools.
- Strong proficiency in SQL is a must; experience with BigQuery or other cloud-based data warehouses preferred.
- Experience designing, running, and interpreting experiments using Statsig to drive data-informed decision making.
- Understanding of financial metrics such as revenue forecasting, cost-per-acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and lifetime value (LTV).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and technical insights into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
Button provides employees with a RemotePlus workplace, which blends “work from anywhere” with in-person collaboration. Button has a “hub” workspace in New York City as well as team members distributed across the United States and beyond. The salary range for this role is expected to be between $140,000 - $182,000 (offered salary is based on a number of factors including skills and experience relative to the job description listed above).
