As a Web Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in accelerating our growth through programmatic SEO by developing and implementing scalable software solutions for large-scale SEO optimization. You will be responsible for automating content creation, optimizing website architecture for search engines, and leveraging data analytics to drive content strategy decisions. Your expertise will be key in enhancing our online presence, driving organic traffic, and ensuring long-term sustainable growth for our startup. Join us and contribute to this exciting journey!

What You Will Do

  • Assist in one of our primary objectives this year: accelerating our growth through programmatic SEO
  • Create full-stack web features using JS/TS, Vue, and Ruby on Rails
  • Identify and proactively address challenges both on the backend and the frontend, driving complex technical decisions within your peer group.

  • Use your technical expertise in building frontend and backend architecture at scale.
  • Write high-quality and maintainable code: test, collaboratively review, and ship!

  • Collaborate closely with other departments like Marketing to build new features.
  • Support other teams in finding pragmatic solutions that can be implemented in a reasonable amount of time.

What You Need To Have

  • You’re fueled by an intense motivation and determination to evolve into an exceptional engineer.
  • 2+ years of experience working working with frontend and backend services, preferably with RoR and JS/TS, and a solid grasp of REST APIs.
  • Expertise in building scalable software from the ground up, including architecture design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Basic knowledge in SQL and modern database technologies, with a focus on high-scale environments.
  • Proficiency in Cloud Computing (such as AWS) and infrastructure management.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly (vital in our hybrid setup).

Nice To Have

  • Experience with GraphQL and Content Management Systems (Hygraph, etc.)
