The main function of a Site Reliability Engineer is to add value to the squad through the development of the highest quality software, aligned with Betterfly's strategy, processes and standards, with the aim of helping 100 million families.
The responsibilities of a Site Reliability Engineer lie within the squad. He participates in all the ceremonies agreed upon by the team and is a key part of achieving the squad's goals through software development. He works under agile methodologies and prioritizes the success of the team over the individual, constantly seeking to improve in terms of the quality and productivity of his work.
What are you going to do?
- Configuration and change management on cloud infrastructure
- Incident management (on-calls)
- Lead the post-mortems
- Generation of playbooks and runbooks
- Gather and analyze metrics to continually improve system performance, scalability, availability, and security.
- Accompany the development team to improve the reliability of services with rigorous testing and continuous integration/delivery
- Participate in ceremonies/activities with a focus on system design, particularly infrastructure, platform management, and continuous improvement
- Balancing speed of development and reliability of systems

Our Stack Tech
- Technology stack: Cloudfront, AWS API Gateway, AWS Cognito, AWS Step Functions, AWS SQS, AWS SNS, AWS EventBridge,Lambda, ECS, Fargate, DataDog, Dockers
- Programming languages and FW: Python, Terraform, Serverless.
- Databases: PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora, AWS DynamoDB
Technical knowledge
- 5+ years of industry experience (+2 on AWS)
- Knowledge and experience with serverless architectures
- Knowledge of distributed systems
- Knowledge and experience with observability experience (management of tools such as APM - DataDog)
- Knowledge in container management (dockers)
- Knowledge of operating systems (Linux)
- experience with terraforming
- Proven experience with AWS services (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, VPC, ECS Fargate, cloudfront, SQS, SNS, Event Bridge)
- IQ/CD
- Python
- Reliability practices
